Last year I had the good fortune to spend three days at Seidler House, an incredible modernist home perched over a magnificent gorge in New South Wales’ Southern Highlands. I was there with like-minded creatives looking to be inspired and learn from the best.

Dan O’Day and Samm Blake are two amazing photographers, creative individuals and generous souls. Their workshop, Art and the Heart, is all about nourishing and sustaining a creative life while also making a living from photography on your own terms.

Perhaps needless to say, it was a wonderful experience on so many levels. Three days with all these talented folk in such a magical environment left me refreshed, excited, buzzing with ideas and ready to take my photography to the next level.

Shot on Fuji film and scanned by Raw Digital and Film Lab. Many thanks to the beautiful couple, Alex and Marissa of The Simple Things Studio.
